In class today we had an in class critique on visual rhetoric poster examples that people had brought in. then we went over a few posters online and we had to break down the techniques used within the poster as a class. We then went into studio time, and were able to discuss ideas and visual research with teachers and in class peers. I missed the second half of class, but i believe it was on wording to help back up the concepts you come up with (communicating a voice making a statement)
Tuesday July 29th - Session Two
Today we learnt about the colored 'thinking hats'. In class we completed some group exercises that just helped us to generate more ideas. We also looked into composition, style, colour, what to look for and what to interpret and consider.
For independent study i drew up more concepts relating to my three issues within social media - stalking, false identity and addiction.
